AFTERSHOCK ACADEMY takes a stronger approach to lectures when learning design, advertising and those fundamental things that make brands. Students are presented with a clear objective, become engrossed in the core elements of design and engage in higher learning when focusing on a career in Graphic Design. Aftershock Academy is extremely passionate about graphic design and are committed to providing students the knowledge and motivation to assist them when reaching their goals. Our Graphic Design Programs are specifically designed to target subject matter than can prove troublesome, even professional graphics designers go through on a daily basis.
All of your sessions with your instructor are live and in person. Your skill development level is evaluated each class. If additional training is required, instructors can be made available for an additional fee. Routine breaks are provided, during classroom sessions, as any additional breaks are not encouraged as a significant amount of material may be missed. The top students are reviewed for potential employment with AFTERSHOCK and those in the industry we recommend. Job placement will be a focus during the last two (2) weeks of the program.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT LEVEL
1. GRAPHIC DESIGN PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE PROGRAM (39 WEEKS / 9 MONTHS)
Game-face ready and totally equipped to go to market, employable and able to deliver. This thirty-nine (39) week, intensive study of graphic design will have students prepared to add value to the organisations they join. Aftershock Academy is committed to providing students with not only the technical professional development, but a deep understanding of international design, preparing students for interaction with both national and international clients. With extensive hands-on development and real-time critique drive students to showcase their evolving creative and designing acumen. Student's must be prepared to put in after hours effort when completing assignments and readings to create a further depth of subject knowledge, personal proficiency and personal performance.
ADVANCED DEVELOPMENT LEVEL
2. GRAPHIC DESIGN ACCELERATED CERTIFICATE PROGRAM (13 WEEKS / 3 MONTHS)
With the confidence to go to market, students are employable and able to solve challenges quickly. This thirteen (13) week, accelerated study of graphic design will have students exposed and capable to bring new ideas and solutions to the forefront. Aftershock Academy is focused on delivering a vast range of technical development, an extensive understanding of design and those elements contributing to a more fulling career when preparing for the job markets. With a solid hands-on approach, personal development of students evolves at a rapid pace. Student's must be prepared to put in extensive effort when completing assignments and readings.
FAMILIARIZATION LEVEL
3. GRAPHIC DESIGN FAMILIARIZATION CERTIFICATE PROGRAM (4 WEEKS / 1 MONTH)
Developed to satisfy the extensive requests received from those seeking to have a basic understanding of graphic design prior to engaging in the Professional or Advanced Graphic Design Certificate Programs and those who are transitioning out of one career seeking to enter the growing creative visual industries, this was designed specifically with you in mind. This is familiarization ONLY, you will not be leaving the program without a working knowledge of the industry or that of possessing proficiency. This enables you to identify those expectations, roles and responsibilities, tools and the vast scale of knowledge one can learn as a Graphic Designer when pursuing a career or a small business.
